Big Why

Consumer Health Data Policy

Effective 1 November 2026

This policy covers consumer health data under the Washington My Health My Data Act, Nevada SB 370 and the Connecticut Data Privacy Act. It sits alongside the Privacy Policy.

What we collect

Big Why keeps health details as memory only after you turn on Remember health-related details in Settings › Memory and AI, which asks for your consent on its own page. With it on, the assistant may remember things you mention about:

Some of these may be inferred from what you say rather than stated; each remembered fact is marked “You said it” or “Inferred”. Separately, and whatever the setting, the written transcript and summary of a conversation keep what was said in it, which can include health details you mention. They are kept until you delete your account.

Where it comes from

Only from you, in your conversations with the assistant and what you write in the app.

Why we use it

Only to personalize your conversations, daily notes and weekly letters. Never for advertising, never sold, and never used to train AI models.

Who receives it

We share it with no one else, we do not sell it, and we do not use geofences around places where health services are provided.
