Delete your account

Effective 1 November 2026

In the app

1. Open Big Why and go to Settings.
2. Tap Your data, then Delete account, and confirm.

If you want a copy first, tap Export on the same page.

Without the app

Email support@abigwhy.com from the address you signed up with, with “Delete my account” in the subject. We confirm it is you and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What is deleted

Everything: your profile, your page (values, goals, people, traits), remembered facts, conversation transcripts and summaries, daily notes, letters, lookups, reports and safety records. It is removed from our database at once, and our subscription provider’s record of you is deleted too. Backups roll off within 35 days. Anything OpenAI received is deleted by OpenAI within 30 days.
